Precision Medicine

Precision medicine is an emerging approach for disease treatment and prevention that takes into account individual variables in lifestyle, environment, and biological makeup. Health disparities arise when members of the community fail to receive the proper screening and treatment services at the right time and designed for their DNA. With Precision Medicine initiatives we can increase the representation of underrepresented minority groups that are traditionally left out of research studies and miss the opportunity for potential cures and breakthroughs.
