Colorectal Cancer Screening & Prevention
Twenty-two million Americans have not been screened for colorectal cancer (CRC). Residents in the State of Illinois are no exception. Illinois continues to fall behind CRC screening rates and remains in the lowest quartile for screening across the nation. In collaboration with the University of Chicago, we are conducting research projects to increase CRC screening rates among a defined target population of persons 45-75 years of age within partner health systems and disparate populations.
